Peterson died at her home in the town of Grant, Clark County, Wis.,
five miles southeast of Neillsville, Feb. 21, 1920. Deceased was born
in Norway in 1853, her maiden name being Bertha Englebretson. She
was married to E. L. Peterson in 1877 and came to this country to
live. They settled in Richland Co., where they lived 25 years. The
lived two years in Virginia and came her last November. She had
been in failing health for several months. She is survived by her
husband and two sons, Ernie in Arkansas and Albert who lives at
home. The funeral was
held Monday afternoon at the M. E. church. The deepest
sympathy is felt in the community for the husband and son, who are
