COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 06/19/1919 Johnson, Gladys
(Marriage - 11 Jun 1919) Mr. Herman Wittke
and Miss Gladys Johnson were united in marriage Jun 11, 1919 by
Rev. G. W. Longenecker at his home in this city. They were attended
by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wagner. The groom is one
of the best young men in this community (Neillsville, Clark County,
Wis.). He made a good record in the army and is a young man of
industry and good habits. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Wittke,
Sr. of Pine Valley. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. William Johnson of Pine Valley, Clark County. She
is a graduate of Neillsville High School and has taught school very
successfully. She has been a great help to her father in the home
where she has shown herself to be a most dutiful daughter. The young couple
took a wedding trip for several days, returning Tuesday. They will
live at the Johnson home. We join in wishing
these worthy young folks a prosperous and happy life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
