COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 06/26/1919 Marsh, Ora
(Marriage - 18 Jun 1919) A very pretty June
wedding of interest to all Granton, Clark County, Wis. and
vicinity, took place at three o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Jun 18,
1919, when Miss Ora Marsh was united in marriage to Mr. Lester
Chapman. The ceremony was performed at Mrs. Mary Marsh's home with
Mr. Wilson Mallory of the Church of Christ officiating, and the
simple ceremony pronounced in the presence of relatives only. The bride, the
eldest daughter of Mrs. Mary Marsh, is an accomplished girl of many
admirable traits of character, and while her modesty prompted her
to request that no great furore be made in the paper relative to
the circumstances of her marriage, we cannot refrain from asserting
that she is a most estimable and altogether worthy young lady who
we believe will bring content and much happiness into the life of
the man of her choice, who is none other than one of the most
worthy and respected citizens of our town. Mr. Chapman has been
located here in the livery business for several years past and by
his genial manner and most accommodating ways and very evident
uprightness has made a host of friends. The happy pair
directly following congratulations and the partaking of the
daintiest of lunches, left by automobile for Oshkosh, Milwaukee and
other state points on a short wedding trip, after which they have
rented. The best wishes of their host of friends go with them for a
long and happy married future. (Granton News) © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
