COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 07/24/1919 Becker, Gertrude
(Marriage - 29 Jun 1919) Rev. H. M. Roberts
and Miss Gertrude Becker were married Tuesday evening, July 29,
1919, at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Clara Becker, in
Chicago. The groom was
pastor of the Presbyterian Church here (Neillsville, Clark County,
Wis.) for over a year and made many friends, not only among his
parishioners, but among all others as well. He is a young man of
talent and an earnest worker in his profession. The bride was for
some time bookkeeper in the Farmers Elevator and has a wide
acquaintance in this vicinity. By her efficiency and attention to
her duties she won the high esteem of all who met her. In her
social life and work in the church she was equally highly
regarded. Mr. Roberts was
recently established in the pastorate at Lake Nebagamon, Wis.,
where he and his bride will make their home. We join in wishing
them happiness. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
