COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 01/08/1920 Newman, Oma
(Marriage - 25 Dec 1919) Herbert Brooks,
Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Brooks of this city (Neillsville,
Clark County, Wis.), was married Christmas Day at Bonham, Texas to
Miss Oma Newman. The groom was born
and brought up here and has many friends who will offer to him
their sincere congratulations. The bride made a visit to
Neillsville a few months ago and all who met her were much charmed
by her quiet ladylike manner and her keen intelligence. Herbert has
followed up with industry a line of automobile mechanics, for which
he has a natural ability and has a profitable position with the
Nash Motor Co. at Kenosha. He has brought his bride to that city
and they will make their home there. No young man of
this city has a greater share of our good will. The writer has
known him since he was a child and wish him and his pretty bride a
life of happiness. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
