Hayssen, Rudolph (22 Jun 1838 - 7? Jul 1885)
Rudolph Hayssen, a German who has been residing one and one-half miles north of this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on a farm for about four years, died very suddenly on Tuesday morning last. He had been at work as usual on Monday and retired without a word of complaint, but arose about twelve o'clock and stepped to the door of his dwelling, where he fell to the ground. Someone of the family, hearing a noise, got up and found him lying near the door unconscious. Dr. McCutcheon was immediately summoned, but the patient died a few minutes after his arrival at the house. Apoplexy was the cause of his sudden death. He was forty-six years of age and leaves a wife and three children.
The birth date on this obit was added by Marv Hayssen. Thank You Marv!!
