Shilts, Samantha (Marriage - 22 Mar 1889)

A joyous double wedding occurred in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Friday last at the residence of Rev. A. M. Parmenter, who also acted in capacity of officiating clergyman, which united Alonzo Shilts and Miss Lillian Barling, and William A. Kidwell and Miss Samantha Shilts, in the holy bonds of wedlock. After the ceremony an elegant dinner was served by Mrs. Parmenter and a large number of friends called to congratulate the happy couple, after which they went to the residence recently vacated by B. E. Shilts, where they will reside.
