Buyette, Amanda (Marriage - 23 Jun 1889)

Hubert Foster and Amanda Buyette, all of Eidsvold, Clark County, Wis., were married at the residence of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Foster, Sunday evening, Jun 23, 1889, Geo. B. Parkhill, J. P., officiating. After the ceremony was over a large number of friends who had collected at the house, opened a lively serenade with guns, bells and horns, which continued until stopped by the tapping of a keg of lager. Hubert Foster is a native of the state of New York and came here with his parents in 1882, and has made this place his home since. Amanda Buyette came here about three months ago to reside with her brother, Wm. The happy young couple have many warm friends here who join in wishing them a long and prosperous voyage through life.
