COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 02/22/1894 Kelly Hattie G.
(Marriage - 31 Jan 1894) A very pleasant
wedding took place jan. 31, 1894, at 10 o'clock a.m. at the
residence of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kelly, it being the marriage of their
daughter, Hattie Gertrude to Mr. Wm. E. Rimenschneider of Stanley,
Clark County, Wis., the Rev. S. N. Griffith, pastor of the
Methodist Church officiating. The bridesmaids
were Miss Katie McGilvary of Chippewa Falls and Miss Anna Olson of
this city; and the groomsmen, Mr. Chas. Taylor of Chippewa Falls
and Mr. Bert Kelly, brother of the bride. The bride wore a gown of
black silk trimmed in cream silk and jet and was a picture of
beauty as she stood before the officiating clergyman to link her
future with the man whom she had chosen as husband. After the ceremony
the contracting parties and their friends sat down to a sumptuous
wedding dinner prepared by the bride's mother; and at 2 o'clock the
happy couple took the train going south for Stanley, where
everything was in readiness for their coming; and Rice Lake lost
one of its fairest and most popular young ladies. The Chronotype
wishes Gertie and her husband long, prosperous and happy lives, and
all the blessing vouchated to mortals. (Rice Lake Chronotype) © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
