COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 11/18/1887 Salisbury, Belle
(Marriage - 15 Nov 1887) Married, at the
residence of Mr. A. E. Mills, at Eau Claire, Wis., on the 15th
inst., Mr. George B. Parkhill of this village (Thorp, Clark County,
Wis.) and Miss Belle M. Salisbury of Eau Claire. The above
contracting parties are well and favorably known in this village
and vicinity, Miss Salisbury having resided here for about two
years previous to taking up her residence with her aunt, Mrs. A. E.
Mill, at Eau Claire, during which time she made hosts of friends.
Mr. Parkhill has resided here some three years, locating here
immediately after graduating from the law school at Madison and,
being endowed with unlimited natural ability, will rise to be one
of the most successful attorneys in the state. The happy couple
will commence housekeeping immediately upon their arrival here
today. The best wishes of the whole community are that their walk
through life May be pleasant and unlimited prosperity attend
