Petrie, Adam (1830 - 26 Sep 1894)

Adam Petrie, father of Mrs. M. O. Olson, died at his daughter's residence in this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) on Wednesday afternoon of last week aged 64 years. Mr. Petrie was a resident of Bayfield Co. and has been an invalid for some time. His wife died at Ashland about six weeks ago, after which he came to reside with his daughter. He was an old resident on the Central Lines coming to Unity about twenty years ago from Jefferson Co., Wis., and moved to Bayfield Co. about six years ago. He leaves a son, Walter, who resides at Fairmont, Minn., and daughter, Mrs. M. O. Olson of this village. Services were held at the residence by Rev. J. B. Bachman on Friday morning and the remains sent to Ashland for burial accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Olson.
