COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 10/25/1894 Rasmussen, Chris
(1869 - 19 Oct 1894) Chris Rasmussen, a
resident of the town of Withee, Clark County, Wis., died at C. C.
Clark's home in that town on Friday evening last, after three
week's illness with typhoid fever. Mr. Rasmussen was 25 years of
age and unmarried, owned a farm near Mr. Clark's place, and has
been making his home with him for some time past. He was born in
Denmark and came to this country with his brother, Nels Rasmussen,
of St. Paul, six years ago. Chris was an honest, hard-working and
industrious young man and an earnest Christian. He was thought to
be recovering from his illness when taken suddenly worse and died.
His brother was present at the fuenral which occurred on Sunday
last from Mr. Clark's residence; religious services being conducted
