Tufts, Anna (1853? - 7 Mar 1896)

Mrs. Anna, Wife of William S. Tufts, aged 42 years, died at her home at Withee, Clark Co., Wis., on Saturday evening last after several years suffering from a complication of diseases. She came with her husband to Withee in 1877 when the surroundings were a wilderness, and her health began to decline nearly five years ago, much of the time being nearly helpless. She leaves to mourn her untimely death, her husband and four children, William C., Daniel J., John A. and Esther A. The interment took place at Greenwood on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
