Pederson, Matthias (1840 - 27 Nov 1896)

Matthias Pederson of the town of Worden, Clark Co., Wis., died early on Thursday morning last, aged fifty-six years. He was born in Norway and immigrated to this country in 1866 and came here in 1878, where he has continued to reside. He leaves a wife and five children, Allie, Mary, Tillie, Hjalmar and Oluf. Mr. Pederson was highly esteemed by his neighbors and friends and his death is regretted by all. The funeral occurred on Saturday afternoon last and was conducted by Rev. Speers, burial taking place at the German Cemetery on the banks of the Eau Claire River in the town of Worden.
