Baumgartner, Mrs. Blasius (1861? - 9 Dec 1901)
Mrs. Blasius Baumgartner of the town of Worden, Clark Co., Wis., committed suicide by hanging herself on Monday afternoon last. She has shown symptoms of insanity for some time past, without apparent cause and was considered of the harmless order. On Monday evening about five o'clock Mr. Baumgartner returned from a trip to Stanley and found that during his absence she had hung herself in a small detached building near the house on their farm. No inquest proceedings were deemed necessary. The woman was about forty years of age, had been married about five years, and leaves no children.
