Shaffer, Mary Ann (31 Dec 1861 - 9 Jan 1902)
Mrs. Phillip Shaffer died at her home in the town of Withee, Clark County, Wis. on Thursday of last week, aged 40 years and 10 days. Her maiden name was Mary Ann Shores and she was born in Richland County, this state, removing here with her husband and children but a few months ago. Her remains, accompanied by relatives, were taken to Muscoda on Saturday last for interment. She leaves a husband and four children, the youngest but a week old.
