COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 02/13/1902 Nixon, Thomas B.
(5 Feb 1865 - 10 Feb 1902) Thomas B. Nixon,
who has been affected with cancer and a constant sufferer for
nearly ten months past, died at his home north of the village
(Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Monday, Feb. 10, 1902. Mr. Nixon was
born at Caraquet, N. B., on Feb. 5, 1865, where he resided until
1893 when he came to Wisconsin. On Feb. 19, 1896, he was united in
marriage with Mrs. Laura Fults of this village and since that time
has resided here. He was in apparent good health until about a year
ago, when he became affected with a bowel trouble and since that
time has been a great sufferer from the malady. Besides his wife,
he leaves a mother, sister and brother. The funeral occurred from
the Baptist Church on Wednesday afternoon, the remains being
