(10 Dec 1854 - 2 Jan 1903) Mrs. Eugenia
Adelaide Shepard, wife of M. S. McKee, died on Friday evening Jan.
2, 1903, at her home in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.).
Her illness dates back to nearly six years ago when she suffered a
paralytic stroke, which rendered her helpless since that time. On
Tuesday of last week a second stroke left her unconscious, in which
condition she remained until final dissolution about 9 o'clock
Friday evening. She was highly respected by all who knew her, and
everything possible was done by an affectionate family and devoted
daughter for her comfort. She was born at Belvidere, Ill on Dec.
10, 1854, and united in marriage with M. S. McKee at Cameron, Mo.
June 13, 1872. The family removed to this village about ten years
ago. The funeral occurred from the Baptist Church on Sunday
afternoon last. Rev. Colby officiating. Deceased leaves a husband
and four children, C. E. McKee of Tony, Oiver, Pearl and Fred of
this place, also one sister, Mrs. M. J. Robinson of Los Angles,
