(Marriage - 31 Mar 1895) Albert Adams, son
of Mr. and Mrs. J. Adams of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.)
was united in marriage with Miss Mabel Thompson of Greenwood, Clark
Co. on the 31s ult. They will reside at Neillsville. The Greenwood
Gleaner speaks of the event as follows: "At 2 p.m. Sunday,
March 31, 1895, Rev. W. T. Hendren performed the ceremony that
linked for life Miss Mabel Louis Thompson and Albert Porter Adams.
The wedding was private, none but the family of the bride being
present. The groom is well known to most of our readers, and is a
successful school teaching, being now in charge of the North Side
school in Neillsville. The bride is the eldest daughter of
postmaster and Mrs. E. H. Thompson. The numerous friends of Mr. and
Mrs. Adams will join the Gleaner in wishing them a successful and
