COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 02/14/1901 Rhea, Alma L.
(Marriage - 12 Feb 1901) On Tuesday evening
Feb. 12, 1901, the marriage of Everard F. Sterling, only son of Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Sterling, and Miss Alma L. Rhea, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. A. O. Rhea, was solemnized at the home of the bride's
parents in this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.). The home was
artistically decorated in honor of the event and the ceremony was
performed by Rev. J. B. Bachman in the presence of relatives of the
two families. Mr. M. Hodge of
Eau Claire was best man and Miss Gertrude Rhea, sister of the
bride, was bridesmaid. After the
services, which made the couple man and wife, the presents were
looked over, after which all partook of the customary wedding
feast. The happily wedded
pair, being held in the highest esteem by their many friends and
acquaintances, and as they are among our most worthy young people,
the best wishes of the entire community are freely bestowed upon
them. May their future be the brightest and their journey through
life one of the most pleasant. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
