COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 07/09/1903 Arnold, Grace
(Marriage - 26 Jun 1903) Miss Grace Arnold
and Prof. W. H. Fernholz were quietly united in the holy bonds of
wedlock at Marshfield, Wis., Friday Jun 26, 1903, rev. Father A.
Joehren tying the nuptial knot. The bride taught school here for
the past years, during which time she has shown her ability as a
primary teacher. Although she has been with us so short a time she
has gained a host of friends. The groom, being the principal of our
public schools, has proven during his career here, master of his
profession. He has been with us the past year, and is engaged for
the coming year, this being the result of his skillful management
of our schools during the past year. Never has Dorchester, Clark
County, Wis. seen the schools so progressive as during that
time. The happy young
couple will make their future home in Dorchester. Upon their return
from their wedding tour, the Dorchester Band gave them a surprising
serenade. Their many friends
wish them a pleasant journey through life. (Dorchester, Wis., July
