Pictured below is the farm which was owned by Ernst Jakel. It was located a mile east of Curtiss, Clark Co., WI and later owned by his grandson, Carl Jakel. In front of the home are: Ernst, his forster daughter--Anna Walksmuth, Mother Louise, William and Charley. This home was eventually moved to a new location.
