COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 02/22/1906 Rusch, Albert
(1852? - 18 Feb 1906) Albert Rusch,
numbered among the oldest settlers of the town of Reseburg, died
quite unexpectedly on Sunday evening Feb. 18, 1906, at his home,
after an illness of about ten days. Mrs. Rusch had been employed as
blacksmith in a lumber camp for several months past, and upon being
taken ill came home about ten days ago. Though seemingly improving
for several days, he gradually grew weaker until he passed away.
The cause terminating his life is supposed to have been an abscess
on the brain resulting from a kick by a horse several years ago.
About eight years ago his wife died, leaving nine small children,
to whose welfare and constant care have been devoted his utmost
energy and constant devotion. Mr. Rusch was an honest upright man,
and his untimely death is a great loss to his family of children
and the entire community. His age was fifty-three years. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
