Prouty, May (Marriage - 1 Jan 1904)

The marriage of George Vangorder and Miss May Prouty occurred at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Prouty, in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.), on Friday evening Jan. 1, Rev. J. B. Bachman officiating. Only members of the immediate families were present. Among the gifts presented to the happy couple was a 100 piece dinner set, a gold band glass set, cake stand, two tea pots, parlor lamp, glass water set, two large vases, tablecloths, sofa pillows, etc. Their numerous friends wish them much happiness and prosperity.
