COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 07/28/1904 Holzhausen, Alma
L. (Marriage - 26 Jul 1904) On Tuesday evening
July 26, 1904 the marriage of Miss Alma Louis Holzhausen and Mr.
Charles Francis Rainey took place at the home of the bride's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Holzhausen, in this village (Thorp,
Clark County, Wis.) The home was tastily decorated with flowers and
the ceremony took place in the presence of relatives, Rev. J. B.
Bachman officiating. Miss Grace Ogden of black River Falls attended
the bride and Mosman Garrison acted as best man. Miss Holzhausen is
one of Thorp's fairest daughters, having grown to womanhood here,
and Mr. Rainey is numbered among our most progressive businessmen.
The Courier expresses the sentiments of their host of friends in
wishing them a long life of happiness. Their wedding tour takes
them through the historic Wisconsin Dells at Kilbourn, after which
they will be "at home" in the rooms over Mrs. Kolb's millinery
store, where things have already been set in order for
"commencement exercises." © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
