COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 03/06/1913 Marth, Wilhelmina
(1829? - 7 Mar 1913) Mrs. Wm. Marth
died at her home in this city (Neillsville, Clark County,
Wis.)Friday noon, March 7, 1913, aged 83 years. She was born in
Pabhott, Germany, her maiden name being Wilhelmina Abrahams. She
was married to Wm. Marth in Germany. They came to this country
about 45 years ago, lived at West Bend about three years and then
moved to Neillsville, Clark County, living for some time on their
farm in Pine Valley. Six children were born to them, two dying in
Germany. Those living are Henry Marth of Neillsville, Mrs. John
Wieding and Mrs. Aug. Marg of Pine Valley and Mrs. Herman Ulrich of
Portland, Oregon. The funeral was
held Monday at the German Lutheran Church, Rev. Brandt preaching
the funeral sermon, burial taking place in the Luther Cemtery in
Pine Valley. The large gathering of friends and the beautiful
flowers all told of the love and affection for the deceased, who
had received from her husband, children and grandchildren the
kindest care in life. The daughter in Portland and the grandsons,
William in the state of Washington and Alfred in Philadelphia, were
not able to be present. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
