Gleischsner, Frank W. (20 Augl 1924 - 25 Mar 2003)

Frank W. Gleichsner, 78, Janesville, formerly of Beloit, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Mercy Hospital, Janesville. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 29, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated. Burial was in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. Frank Walter Gleichsner was born on Aug. 20, 1924, in Bakersville, to Frank Joseph and Frances (nee Schneider) Gleichsner. He married Mary Ann Rueth on May 30, 1951, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, Clark County, Wis. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a plumber for Osborne’s Plumbing and Heating for 39 years and with Shriner’s Plumbing and Heating before moving to Beloit. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Beloit, Knights of Columbus and the Pipefitters Union.

Survivors include one daughter, Theresa "Terri" (Roger) Stone, Janesville; three sons, David Gleichsner, Beloit, Frank Gleichsner Jr., Beloit, and Roger Gleichsner, Beloit; two grandchildren, Francheska Gleichsner, Beloit, and Lavina Gleichsner, California; one brother, John Gleichsner, Marshfield; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Mary Ann, on July 31, 1964; his parents; and one brother, Joseph Gleichsner.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
