was born on May 28, 1977, in Marshfield, to Charles H. and Brenda
(nee Schmidt) Rueth. He was raised on the family farm and educated
in Loyal Public Schools. He graduated from Loyal High School in
1996. He completed a woodworking program at Chippewa Valley
Technical College and then worked in private construction building
homes. He began working for Wick Building Systems, Marshfield, in

He had many interests, but especially enjoyed spending time with
his relatives and friends, Green Bay Packer football, NASCAR

traveling. He was a true people person and would drop everything to
help someone out. He will be sadly
missed by his parents, Chuck and Brenda Rueth, Loyal; one sister,
Amy Rueth, Eau Claire; his maternal grandmother, Betty Schmidt,
Loyal; his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Kathleen Rueth,
Parma, Idaho; two great-grandmothers, Agnes Bargander, Marshfield,
and Lila O’Brien, Spencer; special friend Elice Seebandt,
Neillsville, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceding him in
death were his maternal grandfather, Bernard Schmidt, on Feb. 19,
1987; one uncle, Barry Schmidt; and one aunt, Bonnie Erickson. In
lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given in
Craig’s name for a scholarship that will be established at a
later date. Cuddie Funeral
Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements. Responses Obit: Rueth, Craig A. (1977 - 2003) © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act

Craig was a really good friend of my dads, Richard Carolfi. And since they both
pasted away the same year I believe that my dad would want me to say that he
missed you a lot but now you are both together. Magen Schneider
