Asselin, Dorothy A. (31 Dec 1923 - 13 Mar 2003)

Dorothy A. Asselin, 79, of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., died March 13, 2003, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

There will be no services.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1923, to John and Kate (Hoffman) Zukowski in the Clark County town of Withee. She married Lavern "Pete" Asselin on Dec. 28, 1949, at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Dorothy helped her husband with the family business, Thorp Bottling Company.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Randy (Patricia) Asselin of Fargo, N.D.; a daughter, Julie (Keith) Cox of Collierville, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Alice Cervenka of Bloomingdale, Ill., and Clara Fudala of Gilman.

Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
