Kodl, age 90, of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., died March 30, 2003, at
Victory Medical Center in Stanley. Services will be
held at a later date. Thorp Funeral Home
is assisting the family with arrangements. She was born Feb.
11, 1913, in Chicago to John and Anna (nee Forejt) Nieman. She was
united in marriage to Milton J. Kodl on April 28, 1934, at St.
Ludmilla Catholic Church in Chicago. He died March 28, 2003. The
couple moved to Thorp and purchased a farm. Edna was a homemaker.
They moved to Thorp in 1970 when they sold the farm. Survivors include
her daughters, Elaine (Gale) Kienholz of Woodbury, Minn., Marjorie
David) Smith of Payson, Ariz., Jeanette (Paul) McCatharn of Ocala,
Fla., and Deborah (James) White of Gilbert, Ariz.; son, Milton Jr.
(Norma) Kodl of Owen; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren;
