Foster, Mrs. Jerome (? - 24 Feb 1909)

The explosion of a lamp at the home of Jerome Foster, residing three miles west of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., about three o'clock yesterday morning, set the house on fire and Mrs. Foster, who has been a invalid for over a year past, perished in the flames. Mr. Foster, over eighty years of age, and a young daughter of Peter Rasmussen, who was staying with the aged couple, narrowly escaped burning to death. Mr. Foster has the sympathy of the entire community in his great affliction.
