Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 06/11/1908 McGrogan, Margaret
(Marriage - 9 JUN 1908) St. Bernard's
Church was handsomely decorated Tuesday morning in honor of the
wedding which took place at nine o'clock. The contracting parties
were Miss Margaret McGrogan of this village (Thorp, Clark County,
Wis.) and Mrs. Frank A. Neuberger of Stevens Point, and the wedding
was performed by Father Arentz, the ceremony being the nuptial high
mass. At the conclusion
the bridal party and the invited guests went to the home of the
bride's father, John McGrogan, where all partook of a sumptuous
dinner. The presents received by the newly wedded couple were
numerous and handsome as well as valuable. The bride is one
of our choicest young ladies. From a little girl she has grown up
in our midst, honored by old and young alike. She has ever been a
bright star in the home circle and now she has gone to reign as
queen in her own home. The groom is a stranger to us, but judging
from what the bride is worthy of, he is a good and noble man. They took their
departure during the afternoon on a wedding trip and will be "at
home" at Stevens Point after July 10th. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
