Mr. Oscar Mertens and Miss Catherine Heiman were happily wedded at St. Bernard's Church on Tuesday morning, Oct. 24, 1911, Rev. A. Arentz officiating. These young people enjoy a large circle of friends who join the Courier in extending hearty congratulations. They departed on the noon train for the eastern part of the state to spend a week and upon their return will reside on the groom's large farm directly west of the village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.)
