Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 06/27/1912 Wright, Mrs.
(1837? - 21 JUN 1912) Mrs. Wright, for
more than thirty years a resident of the town of Reseburg, Clark
County, Wis., died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Frese, in
that town on Friday evening, June 21, 1912, aged seventy-five
years. Mrs. Wright had always enjoyed fairly good health until
within the past month when her decline became rapid. The cause of
death was heart trouble. While she has gone from the scene, the
conflicts, the sorrows and pleasures of life, she will still live
in the hearts of those who knew her best. Her retiring nature led
her to hide her best qualities from public gaze, but they were
revealed to those who enjoyed her acquaintance, yet it was in her
home that her true worth was conspicuous. She leaves seven
children, Mrs. A. A. Arnold of Sumner, Wash., Mrs. Peter Biddle and
Mrs. John Frese of the town of Reseburg, Mrs. P. McParland of this
village, Mrs. Wm. Schmidt of Curtiss, John Wright of Duluth and
Robert Wright of Estella. The funeral, which was largely attended,
took place on Monday, services being held at the Baptist Church,
Rev. J. B. Bachman officiating, interment following at the Thorp
Village Cemetery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
