Schmidt, Edward (1887? - 1 Apr 1913)
Edward Schmidt, brother of Jacob Schmidt of the town of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., died of consumption at Escanaba, Mich., on Tuesday of last week, aged twenty-five years. Mr. Schmidt had been a sufferer from this disease for some time. His body was shipped here and the funeral occurred on Friday morning from St. Bernard's Church, Father Neises officiating, interment taking place in the Catholic Cemetery.
