This yet unidentified photo was from a family collection owned by the Benware and Barton family. The notation on the bottom indicates it was taken by "Belanger". The photographer could well have been F. Belanger who moved on to Fargo ND sometime prior to 1904 and then on to Oregon in 1904 after the death of his wife on Mar. 21st. This photographer belonged to the Congregational church and seemed to have been a friend of the Barton family. If you have any information which could lead to a greater understanding of who this individual May be, please contact me.
