(1865? - 4 Sep 1913) Mathias Brunner, a
former resident of this vicinity (Clark County, Wis.), died at his
home at Ashland, Wis., on Thursday last. Mr. Brunner had been ill
with typhoid fever for about two months and failing to withstand
the ravages of the disease, he succumbed to the inevitable. He was
forty-eight years of age. Since leaving here thirteen years ago he
met with much success in soliciting life insurance risks for
Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. He leaves a wife and two children,
his aged mother, Mrs. M. Brunner, and brothers, Andrew Brunner of
this place, Mike Brunner of Stratford, and George Brunner of
Superior. The remains were brought here on Saturday, the funeral
taking place on Monday from St. Bernard's Catholic Church, the
Catholic Foresters, of which the deceased was an honored member,
attending the same in a body. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
