(26 OCT 1860 - 30 JUN 1914) Frank W. Laurent
died at his home in the town of Worden, Clark County, Wis. at an
early hour on Tuesday morning, June 30, 1914. Mr. Laurent had been
ill for over a year and had undergone two operations for stomach
trouble and supposed cancer, but the primary cause of his demise
was no doubt a complication of several diseases, including heart
disease. He was a respected citizen of this community for many
years and the sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved widow and
children. Mr. Laurent was born at Meadville, Pa. On Oct. 26, 1860,
moving from there to Texas with his parents, and came to thorp
nearly thirty years ago. On Oct. 28, 1899 he was united in marriage
with Miss Margaret Oesau, who with six children, three sisters
residing at Meadville, Pa., three sisters residing at Bemidji,
Minn., and one brother of Stasko, Can., survive. The funeral will
take place at one o'clock this (Thursday) afternoon from the home
and will be conducted by the officers of Forest Queen Lodge No.
