Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 09/16/1915 Parkhill, Mrs. Wm.
(4 NOV 1860 - 9 Sep 1915) Mrs. Wm. Parkhill
died at her home in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on
Thursday, Sept. 9, 1915, of creeping paralysis, aged 54 years, 10
months and 5 days. She was born in Essex County, N.Y. and came with
her parents to Colby, Wis. about forty years ago, where she was
united in marriage with Mr. Parkhill, who, with three sons and five
daughters, survive. Her illness extended over a period of several
months during which time she was a patient sufferer and bore up
bravely, but to no purpose. Funeral services were held at the
residence on Monday afternoon by Rev. J. B. Bachman. The body,
accompanied by the family, was taken to Colby on the Tuesday
morning train, where interment took place beside the remains of six
children who died previous to her removal to this place. Mr.
Parkhill and family have the sympathy of the whole community in
their affliction. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
