(1852 - 10 Dec 1915) Moses L. Freedy
died at St. Joseph's Hospital at Chippewa Falls on Friday last and
his body was brought here (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Saturday
and the funeral took place Sunday afternoon from the M. E. Church,
Rev. J. B. Bachman officiating. Mr. Freedy was born in New York
State sixty-three years ago and came to Hancock, Waushara Co.,
Wis., where he was united in marriage with Miss Craig thirty-one
years ago and soon after removed to this village, where he has
resided since. The cause of death was paralysis from which he was a
great sufferer for the past two years. He leaves to mourn his wife
and one daughter, Mrs. Major Spencer, the latter a resident of
