NOV 1865 - 3 Mar 1916) Henry Zachow died
at his home in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Friday
evening, March 3, 1916, after an illness of less than a week, the
cause being multiple neuritis. His age was 50 years, 3 months and
20 days. He was born in Germany and came here with his parents at
an early age, having been a resident for about thirty years. He
leaves to mourn, his aged step-mother, Mrs. Zachow, two daughters,
the Misses Carrie and Adelia Zachow, and one son, Charley Zachow;
also two sisters, Mrs. Carl Braun of the town of Worden and Mrs. L.
Hilbo of this village. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon
from the Reformed Church, Rev. F. A. Schwertferger, pastor of the
Lutheran Church, officiating, interment following in the Thorp
Village Cemetery beside his wife who died about seven years
