Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 01/30/1914 Burke, Marguerite
(Marriage - 28 Jan 1914) The marriage of
Miss Marguerite Burke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Burke, and
Mr. Roy E. Piper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Piper, took place at the
residence of the officiating clergyman, Father Neises, on Wednesday
morning, Jan. 28, 1914. The bride wore a neat traveling suit of
blue, the groom the conventional black. The attendants were Miss
Lucille Burke and Mr. George Murphy. After the ceremony a sumptuous
wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, a
number of relatives of the contracting parties, and friends, taking
part as invited guests. This happy couple is numbered among our
most highly respected young people, and the sincere best wishes of
all are freely bestowed for their future welfare and happiness.
They departed on the noon train for Minneapolis, and upon their
return will occupy the residence of H. E. Howard. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
