Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 02/01/1917 Cole, Milton H.
(1854? - Jan 1892) (From Quarter
Century Ago in Thorp column) Milton H. Cole
died at the residence of his sister, Mrs. J. A. Allen, at Oshkosh,
on Friday morning last (Jan 1892), aged 37 years. Mr. Cole was a
dentist by profession and located here (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.)
about a year and a half ago. Being addicted to the use of whiskey
and morphine in unreasonable quantities he went to Dwight, Ill, the
latter part of December, in the hope of getting rid of the appetite
for these stimulants, and after three weeks treatment though he was
much improved, but it seems the cure was too radical in its
effects, and he returned to the home of his sister at Oshkosh,
where he became worse and suddenly exprired. His remains were
interred at Fond du Lac on Saturday last. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
