Daniel (20 NOV 1837 - 28 JUN 1917) A note received
from Mrs. Ferdinand F. Schultz of Kenosha, Wis., informs the
Courier of the death of Mrs. Daniel Lindemann (nee Tiedemann),
which occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Messner, at
Reed City, Mich., on June 28, 1917. Mrs. Lindemann and her husband
lived here (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on a farm from 1884 to 1893,
when they moved to Reed City, where Mr. Lindemann died in 1903.
Mrs. Lindemann was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany on Nov. 20,
1837. In 1852 she came with her parents to America, the family
settling in Calumet Co., Wis, where she was united in marriage with
Daniel Lindemann on Jan. 25, 1856. This union was blessed with six
children, two sons and four daughters. Of these one son died in
infancy and the remaining son, Henry Lindemann, passed from this
life on May 2 of the present year. The four daughters, Mrs. George
Messner and Mrs. Helen Wagner of Reed City, Mrs. Anna Hohnstratter
of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Ferd. Schultz of Kenosha, survive.
Deceased will be kindly remembered by many residents here and
