Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 06/29/1916 Connor, Louise
(Marriage - 27 JUN 1916) The marriage of
Miss Louise Connor, daughter of Mrs. James Connor, and William A.
Bogumill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bogumill, was solemnized at
St. Bernard's Catholic Church in this village (Thorp, Clark County,
Wis.) on Tuesday morning June 27, 1916, Father Neises officiating.
Michael Lesniewski and Miss Eunice Lemense of Grand Rapids, cousin
of the bride, were attendants, Miss Beatrice Connor, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor and Peter Bogumill, best man. The bride
was attired in a beautiful gown of net and lace, embroidered tulle
veil and carried a shower bouquet of roses and lilies of the
valley, the bridesmaid wore blue taffeta, carrying a bouquet of
pink sweet peas and the maid of honor, gowned in corn-colored
taffeta, also carried pink sweet pears. The groom wore a blue suit
and the groomsmen black. Both bride and groom are well known young
people and the community shares in their happiness by wishing them
a most bright and happy pathway through life. A reception attended
by relatives followed the ceremony at the church, at the home of
the bride's mother. The newlyweds departed on a wedding trip to
Minneapolis on the evening train with the best wishes of their host
of friends. They will be at home after July 10th at Mellen, Wis.,
where the groom is employed. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
