Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 08/24/1916 Marshall, Beatrice
(Marriage - 10 Augl 1916) Married, at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Kendall, at 4 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 10,
1916, Mr. Bert Horn and Miss Beatrice Marshall. The ring ceremony,
which was used by officiating clergyman, Rev. E. L. Moore, was both
unique and very impressive. The house was
beautifully and artistically decorated with flowers. With the
exception of three outsiders, only the relatives of the bride and
groom were present. The bride was born
in Clark County, Wisconsin and came with her mother to Montana
about four eyars ago, and has been a resident of Windham ever
since, and has made many warm friends by her ladylike manners and
genial disposition. She is to be congratulated on the choice she
has made in the selection of a life long companion. The groom came
with his mother from Kansas and has been a resident of Montana for
several years. He owns a fine ranch two miles north of Windham and
is a young man of sterling worth and steady habits. We bespeak for
the young people the success they so justly merit. After the ceremony
was performed the guests were ushered into the dining room, where a
sumptuous three course wedding dinner was daintily served. The
bride's cake, pure white, was a marvel of beauty. It will be an
event long to be remembered by the participants. (Windham, Mont.
