Moore, Victoria (Marriage - 30 OCT 1916)

Victoria, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Moore of this city (Stanley, Wis.), was united in marriage to Bernard Slota at Duluth on Monday of this week. The event had been anticipated for some time by many friends of the bride in this city. The bride is one of Stanley's fairest daughters and always one of the most popular. She was born in Stanley and through childhood and young womanhood she dispensed sunshine and good cheer wherever she went. She was graduated from the high school with the class of 1910 and has since been engaged in teaching. The groom is a former Thorp, Clark County, Wis. boy, being graduated from the high school there and he engaged in teaching for a time. He now holds a position in the steel mills at Duluth and there the young people will make their home. (Stanley Republican)
