Gruszynski, Pelagia (Marriage - 3 May 1917)

Miss Pelagia Gruszynski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Gruszynski, of this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.), and Mr. Martin Kaniewski of South Bend, Indiana, were united in marriage at 8:00 o'clock on Tuesday morning at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Father John Neises officiating. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Clara Gruszynski, and the groom by Louis Gruszynski, bother of the bride. The gown worn by the bride was of white crepe de chene and she carried a bouquet of bridal roses. The bridesmaid wore a pink crepe de chene gown. A sumptuous dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents at noon, a few neighbors and friends being invited guests.

The couple departed for their home at South Bend, Ind., where the groom is established in the furniture business in the evening, amidst a shower of congratulations. Good luck to them.
