Finnegan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Finnegan of this village
(Thorp, Clark County, Wis.), and Mr. John Kobelus of Port Arthur,
Wis., were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at St. Bernard's
Church in this village on Thursday morning, June 28, 1917, Father
Neises officiating. Miss Finnegan has been a successful teacher in
this and adjoining counties for several years. And enjoys a large
circle of friends and acquaintances. Mr. Kobelus holds a very
responsible position as foreman in a pulp mill at Port Arthur, Rusk
Co. The couple was attended by Mrs. George Beller, sister of the
bride, and Mr. Kobelus, brother of the groom. After the ceremony a
reception was given at the bride's home which was largely attended
by relatives and friends. They will reside at Port Arthur. The
Courier joins their numerous friends in extending
