(15 Mar 1844 - 7 Sep 1918) Mrs. Margaret
Brunner, wife of the late Michael Brunner, died at the home of her
son, Michael Brunner, at Stratford, Wis., on Saturday last. The day
previous she went to Stratford to pay her son and family a visit
and the same evening fell down a stairway suffering a fracture of
the skull. She revived a
short time later for about ten minutes, then became unconscious and
remained so until the end. She was born at Krain, Schwandorf,
Bavaria, Germany on March 15, 1844, and was united in marriage in
1863 to Michael Brunner, who died here (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.)
in 1908. They came to this country in 1881 and to Thorp in 1887.
Surviving her are three stalwart sons, Andrew of this village,
Michael of Stratford, and George of Detroit, Mich. The remains were
brought here on Sunday last, the funeral taking place on Tuesday
from St. Bernard's Church, Father Neises officiating, interment
following in the Catholic Cemetery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
